The changing energy landscape opens up opportunities for well-designed IT services in customer service, asset management and operations

London, 29 January 2013 – Energy efficiency, smart metering and process efficiency are just three of today’s central issues for energy providers. Efficient, well-designed IT services for customer service and operations are essential given that regulatory and technical requirements within the energy industry give rise to complex business processes. At E-world NTT DATA will focus on three core areas: solutions for better customer services, optimised operations and asset management, and efficient IT integration.

Customer service solutions developed by NTT DATA enable energy providers to deliver services to customers in a cost-efficient manner, across all channels and in accordance with regulatory requirements. NTT DATA also offers customised approaches for e-mobility and smart grids – from the charging infrastructure for electric cars right through to energy management and demand response solutions.

Asset management and real-time analysis of KPIs are set to become high priority in the energy sector.
